Christine has considerable experience of the design and development of
banking systems on Unisys A Series mainframes for large financial
institutions.
Having started her career as a Cobol programmer on Unisys, IBM and ICL computers, she
then wrote, maintained and supported A
Series LINC programs for over 12 years. During that
period, she contributed to
major projects for Alliance & Leicester, National &
Provincial, Royal Life Insurance, Abbey National, the
Halifax and other Unisys users in the UK and Europe.
In the early 2000s, as the end-users' need for LINC
development started to decline, Christine decided that it
was time to learn new skills and focused on the Microsoft
Windows platform. Of course, irrespective of the
technical environment, her experience of large-scale custom
software projects and of structured development and testing
methodologies remains extremely valuable.
