Cliff is a consultant and software designer
with over 25 years experience in the IT industry.
After obtaining his degree in Mathematics from the
University of Leeds, Cliff began his career with Marconi
Avionics and, later on, Aregon International, a company
specialising in public and private Videotex systems.
Cliff joined Unisys Europe-Africa Division in 1984, and
provided consultancy, design, development and project
management expertise on a variety of small to large-scale,
complex projects. A major success during this period
was the design and implementation of a sophisticated branch
automation system for the Bank of Cyprus involving Unisys
CTOS servers and workstations.
From the late 1990s, Cliff started concentrating on
object-oriented design and development. He was a
founding member of a Customer Relationship Management
development group, for which he defined and implemented a
component-based development methodology. Within that
group, Cliff managed the production of software components
and business applications using both traditional and rapid
application development techniques.
Since then, Cliff has continued building up his experience of
providing object-oriented solutions for Microsoft platforms
as well as web-based applications using either
Microsoft .NET or Java J2EE technology. Cliff has a reputation
for the quality of his work, thoroughness, being highly
adaptable and thriving on new challenges.
