Working as a subcontractor of Crimson Systems, a Microsoft
Gold Certified partner, we contributed to the implementation
of a search engine for insurance quotations that was
required by Budget Insurance, a client of Crimson Systems.
The work consisted in developing a multi-threaded middleware
component enabling the Budget Insurance web site to
obtain immediate price quotations from multiple third-party
insurance providers meeting suitable criteria. This development was based on
Microsoft .NET web service technology and made use of XML
and XSLT for data transformation.

Development of a front-end ASP.NET application for the “white label” version of the
Faceparty web site, one of the leading online
community sites in the UK. The application obtains XML data from the Faceparty
White Label web service and transforms the data using XSL style sheets to generate
HTML web pages.

Acting as a subcontractor of SunGard,
a leading supplier of technology solutions to the UK public
sector, Three Trees Ltd
created key software components of the Whole Farm Approach
system, which is used by Defra (the UK Department for
Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) to collect information
from farmers.
Three Trees Ltd designed and developed the front-end Windows
application that enables farmers to fill in farm appraisal
questionnaires. The application interprets any questionnaire
definition that may be authored by Defra and dynamically
renders the user interface, including navigation between the
sections of the questionnaire, calculations, data
formatting, and data validation.
Three Trees Ltd also
designed the central Questionnaire Management System, with
which the front-end application interfaces through the
Internet to select and download appropriate questionnaires,
submit them when completed, and access historical data.
The
solution is based on Microsoft .NET, XML, and web service
technologies.

Involvement in the
development of a new release of KSS' PriceStrat retail
revenue management system. PriceStrat is a state-of-the-art .NET application,
which won the Retail HQ - Marketing and Customer Relationship Management Application award at the
Microsoft European Retail Application Developer (RAD) Awards 2003.
